Nice weight to this jacket. It will carry you all thru fall, and early winter. The length of the jacket is perfect for me. I am 5'3" and the hem is 3 inches below my natural waist. I was hoping the collar was not large, and it is not. I am closer to a 14 in womens, than a 16; and the 12 fit me perfectly. Wish they had this jacket in orange, deep red, and royal blue
