i was looking at the Oakley 3D Gascans, but they were a bit pricey (>$100), ImO, for just 3D movie/game use. While searching Amazon for replacement lenses for my Flak Jacket, i came across this item and decided to give it a try.
Chamelius' plastic lenses are thicker than the ones you'd get in theaters, but are thinner than the official Oakley replacement lenses. As a result, they sit a bit loosely in the frame's grooves, but not so much that there's any danger of them falling out - the Flak Jacket's frame and lens design help to prevent that.
i finally had a chance to use them watching Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph 3D" and they worked! Since it's my own pair (adjusted to fit my face) they're obviously more comfortable than theater provided glasses and no more adjusting them because they keep slipping... thank you Oakley earsocks!
Remember, these lenses are for PASSIVE and/or RealD 3D systems/movies. They won't work on IMAX 3D movies - from my experience the larger, non-folding yellow-framed 3D glasses.
